Everllence Zurich has designed and brought to market hermetically sealed compression units equipped with an integrated multimegawatt electric high-speed motor. To further advance this high-tech product, we are looking for a new talent to join the team.
We can offer you the following tasks
- People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of highly skilled development engineers with strong technical expertise and professional autonomy, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a technical sparring partner for the team, providing guidance and decision support in the development of advanced electrical machines, particularly high-speed motor solutions.
- Product Development Responsibility: Take overall responsibility for the continuous development of Everllence products with electrical high-speed motors, including modularization strategies, industrialization concepts, supply chain readiness, and design tools.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Define, maintain, and execute the R&D roadmap for electrical machines, aligning technical priorities with market needs, product management, and business strategy.
- Cross Organizational Collaboration: Drive cross site and cross product development projects, ensuring effective interfaces to product management, manufacturing, procurement, and other business units.
- Management: Plan, budget, and control development projects and initiatives, leading the development roadmap for electrical machines.
- Academic Partnerships and Representation: Establish and maintain relationships with universities and research institutions and represent the company at relevant conferences.
You can help us with these qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial development environments, including proven experience in leading teams or technical groups.
- Leadership Capability: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop highly skilled experts, balancing responsibility and alignment in a team of strong professionals.
- Technical Leadership: In depth understanding of the development, industrialization, and standardization processes of electrical machines.
- Industry Background: Solid experience from an industrial environment, with exposure to manufacturing, supply chain considerations, and product lifecycle thinking.
- Strategic and Organizational Skills: Strong capability to structure complex topics, set priorities, and translate strategy into executable development roadmaps.
- External Collaboration: Experience working with academic institutions, research partners, suppliers, or industry networks is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Clear and confident communication style, collaborative leadership approach, and a pragmatic, solution oriented mindset.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
