The Aftersales Business Unit, PrimeServ, is seeking a Key Account Manager who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and a strong can-do attitude. We can offer you the following tasks
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Identify, pursue, and execute opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product or service portfolios within existing accounts.
- Understand client business models, challenges, and strategic goals to design tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of agreed products, services, and solutions. Monitor adherence to contractual obligations and service level agreements
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), account profitability, customer satisfaction, and other relevant metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry developments, client strategies, and competitor activities to proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, influencing product development, process improvements, and innovation initiatives to strengthen client relationships.
You can help us with these qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (University or University of Applied Sciences) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an international sales organization, ideally in Oil & Gas, technical, or manufacturing environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- High customer focus, with the ability to understand complex client needs and align them with company capabilities and targets.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written). German is a strong advantage; additional languages such as Italian are a plus.
