We can offer you the following tasks

We are seeking a proactive and analytical intern to support our Sales & Tendering team in Zurich. The role focuses on market analysis and target market prioritization for our large-scale heat pump solutions. You will work closely with the sales team to develop a structured, data-driven approach for market intelligence and strategic planning.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy transition sector, working on cutting-edge decarbonization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Prioritization

- Collect and consolidate market data from internal and external sources.

- Identify and apply relevant prioritization factors (e.g., market size, regulatory drivers, competitive landscape).

- Develop a standardized template for market prioritization.

Data-Driven Insights

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.

- Visualize findings using clear, impactful charts and dashboards.

- Support scenario analysis for strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement & Innovation

- Act as a sparring partner to challenge the status quo in market analysis.

- Propose fresh, disruptive ideas to improve current methodologies.

- Explore the use of AI and advanced analytics for market intelligence.

You can help us with these qualifications

Education

Student in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (Bachelor or Master level)

Technical Skills

- Strong Excel and data visualization skills

- Understanding of energy markets, power sector, and rotating equipment.

- Familiarity with Python or VBA is an advantage

- Knowledge of AI tools or agentic AI is a plus

Personal Attributes

- Proactive and self-driven

- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking

- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
