We can offer you the following tasks
The ROC / Consulting Engineer performs classic troubleshooting when customers contact MAN Energy Solutions for support. The role includes responsibility for one PrimeServ Assist customer and continuous monitoring of the customer’s compressor plant in CEON. Based on strong technical expertise, the engineer provides customer consultation, resolves issues efficiently, and develops maintenance reference plans aligned with modern and customer-specific requirements.
- Record, solve and answer technical related customer issues about MAN-ES Turbomachinery core Products (Axial, Radial, Highspeed Compressors and Expanders originally manufactured in Zürich and their auxiliary components)
- Troubleshooting based on customer’s problem description, operating data, P&ID’s and component drawings
- Coordination of detailed root cause analysis with all involved parties like laboratory, design departments new plant and third party consulting.
- Preparation and presentation of reports on findings and possible causes internally as well as to customers.
- If necessary troubleshooting at customer site.
- Continuous monitoring of plants covered in a PrimeServ Assist contract based on the operating data made available via CEON
- Develop and create maintenance reference plans according to modern/customer-specific requirements for the ZRH compressor fleet
- Active role in the hotline service (Techline)
- Further development of the Remote Operation Center ZRH (ROC) actively.
You can help us with these qualifications
- Master degree in mechanical engineering with strong IT skills.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in calculation and / or design and / or erection of Turbomachinery, Rotating Equipment and sub systems
- Broad understanding of operational behavior of turbomachinery, their components and their principle control philosophies
- Strong analytical skills as well as vital imagination and intuition to explore root causes of given problems
- Inner drive and self-motivation
- Very good coordination, organization and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment
- Establish good internal / external collaboration with other departments
