Are you an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys combining operational excellence with people's development and transformation?
As Head of Manufacturing, Copenhagen, you will lead the factory organization and play a key role in ensuring strong performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. At the same time, you will help prepare the organization for the next chapter of its manufacturing journey, including the transition to The Valley, our new site in Roskilde.
This is a leadership role with both an operational and strategic perspective. You will be responsible for delivering strong results today while developing the people, capabilities, processes, and ways of working needed for tomorrow.
You will lead a diverse organization of leaders and specialists, work closely with colleagues across the business, and contribute to the continued digitalization and modernization of our manufacturing operations.
You will play an important role in:
- Leading the overall factory operation and ensuring sustainable performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Leading, coaching and developing the factory leadership team and middle-management organization.
- Fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Contributing actively to the Copenhagen Management Team and the broader production and operations network.
- Driving operational excellence through structured performance management, Lean principles and continuous improvement.
- Driving data-informed decision-making and performance transparency across the factory, using relevant performance indicators to identify opportunities and support continuous improvement. Leading organizational development and change initiatives, including preparing the organization for the transition to The Valley in Roskilde.
- Driving digitalization, automation, and future manufacturing concepts across the factory.
- Working closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, Finance and other functions, while maintaining constructive collaboration with employee representatives and unions.
We imagine that you:
- Bring 10+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial operations or a related environment, including experience leading larger production or operations organizations.
- Have a proven track record of improving operational performance, productivity, and delivery reliability. Experience from a semi-serial manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Have experience leading organizational change, transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Have strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable collaborating across functions, organizational levels and different perspectives.
- Combine strategic thinking with strong operational leadership and can make well-considered decisions when priorities are complex or changing.
- Have a good understanding of manufacturing operations, production economics and performance management, as well as Lean Manufacturing.
- Understand digital manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Have relevant higher education in engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, manufacturing, business engineering or a related field – or equivalent professional experience.
- Additional management education, such as an MBA or MSc, and Six Sigma certification or a similar problem-solving methodology are considered an advantage.
- Good communication skills in both English and Danish
