We can offer you the following tasks

As an Enterprise Architect (m/f/x), you will take on overall architectural responsibility for our cloud-based IoT platform, which is used globally in industrial plants, power stations, and maritime applications. Your tasks include:

• Designing and evolving a scalable, secure, and modular IoT platform based on AWS
• Defining the target architecture across all layers – from edge devices to the cloud – including API management, data lake, event bus, and AI integration
• Providing technical leadership and architectural governance for multiple agile teams and external development partners
• Supporting connectivity concepts for industrial control systems (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, CAN) and edge gateways
• Guiding architectural decisions with a focus on operation in critical infrastructures (power plants, maritime assets, industrial manufacturing)
• Contributing to security architecture, multi-tenancy, role-based authorization, and EU data compliance (including EU Data Act, IEC 62443)
• Collaborating with product management and sales to ensure technical feasibility and customer focus

You can help us with these qualifications

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience as an Enterprise or Lead Architect in cloud-based IoT or industrial software projects
• In-depth knowledge of AWS architectures (Lambda, S3, IoT Core, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Experience with system integration and implementation of hybrid architectures (Edge & Cloud)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, security standards (IEC 62443), and OT/IT integration is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly – for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel for customer workshops, architecture boards, and international collaboration
